Bogota in March

We apologize for our hiatus from updating the blog. Life has been a bit hectic the past two months and we'll get around to filling you in on work soon enough!
In March, we traveled with the majority of our faculty to a teaching conference in Bogota, Colombia.

Most of our time was spent in professional development workshops, but we did get a day and a half to explore the city. From above La Candelaria, the city's historic colonial center, we took in a breath-taking view from Monserrate via cable car.

Dan couldn't get enough of the food at the host school's "Colombian Night."

About an hour outside of Bogota in the town of Zipaquira lies the Catedral de Sal (Salt Cathedral).
